Arts & Entertainment in Somerset Survey 2025

At The Octagon Theatre & Westlands Entertainment Venue we are committed to improving access and opportunities for local residents to engage with the arts and culture across the county.

To better serve our community and reach those disengaged with the arts, we want to understand what the perceptions are of the arts in Somerset at the moment, people’s previous experiences attending or participating in arts and cultural events, and what communities would love to see happen in their local area. 

We are carrying out this survey to help us learn more about our community/audiences/visitors and how we can give them the best possible experience. It will also help us to apply to national funding bodies (like the National Lottery Fund and Arts Council England) and evidence the need for investment locally. Any information that you give us today will go towards planning future opportunities and activities for arts and cultural experiences locally. 

The survey should take around five minutes to complete. Anything you tell us will be kept confidential, is anonymous and will only be used for research purposes. The information you provide will be held by The Octagon Theatre & Westlands Entertainment Venue, Yeovil Town Council and Somerset Council.
