Paul Zerdin announces fundraising show for Name A Seat initiative; An Evening with Paul Zerdin, 15 June 2022

Paul Zerdin, the comedian/ventriloquist who won America’s Got Talent in 2015, returns to Yeovil’s Octagon Theatre on 15 June 2022 for an incredibly special theatre fundraising event -   AN EVENING WITH PAUL ZERDIN. Paul, who is a patron of the venue’s Name A Seat initiative and helping to raise funds for the redevelopment of the venue, will also be filming the show for future release.

Since winning America’s Got Talent back in 2015, Paul Zerdin has become ‘hot property’ on both sides of the Atlantic and around the world and regularly tours with his ‘puppet family’! In 2021 Paul toured with ‘Hands Free’ with additional shows in 2022.

AN EVENING WITH PAUL ZERDIN will see the puppet master, accompanied by his regular puppet playmates Sam, Baby and Albert, plus newcomers Roger, the bodyguard who claims to be ex-CIA, who Paul hasn’t been able to shake off since winning America’s Got Talent and a troublesome Urban Fox which follows him everywhere – most likely for the ‘snack value’. 

The show will feature a mix of Paul’s best loved comedy along with new material that he will be ‘sneak-previewing’ for his forthcoming Edinburgh Festival shows. As with all Paul’s shows there will be some serious audience participation! And if Paul seems a little confused at times – he is because he blurs the lines of reality so effectively that sometimes even, he does not know who’s in charge or what’s going on and of course Roger, with his dubious credentials doesn’t have a clue!

This event will be a superb evening of entertainment from a true master of comedy all to support the development of our theatre. As the event is being filmed audiences may also find themselves getting their very own starring moment!”

AN EVENING WITH PAUL ZERDIN will be a unique experience for a great cause with plenty of laughter!

All proceeds will be donated to the Foyer Club registered charity.
