Summer PlayDay Tips

  • Plan your parking in advance.  If able, it is best to park further away and have a short walk to the event.
  • In previous years the quietest time is during the afternoon.  We ask all our activities to run until the end time, so there will be plenty to do and enjoy.
  • Check out the performance times in advance so you can plan your visit around this.
  • The face painters will shut the line, in advance of 3pm, to ensure they finish at 3pm.
  • Make a day of it, bring a picnic or enjoy some food from local retailers.
  • Outdoor events can be busy, make sure your child/children are aware of the missing child point in advance so that staff can assist if needed.
  • Children are always the responsibility of parents/carers.
  • Plan for all weathers, we are in the UK!  Bring sunscreen, hats, an umbrella – best be prepared!
  • Make the most of the day by enjoying the activities with your child.
